Unbiased FITREP marking assistance tool
by Semper AdminPoC constraint: Do not enter real Marine names. Use only synthetic identifiers from the fixture.
Traditional FITREP marking often suffers from grade inflation and preconceived notions. Evaluators frequently decide on a final grade first, then justify it backward. This tool eliminates that bias.
For each trait, you'll be presented with descriptive performance standards:
Every marking decision requires specific justification with examples and evidence. This ensures accountability and provides valuable feedback to the Marine being evaluated.
By evaluating performance against established standards rather than predetermined outcomes, this tool produces more accurate, fair, and legally defensible FITREP markings that truly reflect Marine performance.

This is the raw 1–7 average of the observed attribute marks (A=1 … G=7). It is not the board-visible relative value, which is computed by HQMC against the Reporting Senior’s profile and appears only on the Master Brief Sheet (MCO 1610.7B, ch. 8, paras 6–7). This tool demonstrates the left-to-right marking methodology against synthetic Marines only.
PoC constraint: Use synthetic identifiers only. No real Marine names, EDIPIs, ranks tied to individuals, or narrative text.
